Ukrainian National Union (UNU) – Ukrainian paramilitary patriotic socio-political organisation. Union of the ultra-nationalist and neo-Nazi radical organizations and groups founded in 2009 that share the Ukrainian national socialism ideology and agree upon building a national socialism state in Ukraine. ==History== UNU was founded on December 19, 2009. The first branches were opened in Kharkiv, Poltava, Liubotyn cities. Until 2012 the head of the UNU was Oleg Goltvyansky. Since July 15, 2012 the head of organisation became Vitaly Krivosheev. Since its founding the UNU has established itself as an organiser of regular politically resonant campaigns including marches in honor of Ukrainian Insurgent Army in Kiev, Kharkov and Poltava, marches against Illegal immigration in Kharkov and other. During of existence the UNU struggles with the hostile forces to the Ukrainian state, first of pro-Russian and separatist orientation. October 26, 2012 Ukrainian National Union announced the creation of the Alliance of Patriotic Forces. In April 27, 2013, the UNU leaders proclaimed their intention to create a Ukrainian national-socialist political party. Until May 22, 2013 Ukrainian National Union was a member of the Social-National Assembly. UNU is one of the organisers of the "Euromaidan". During the 2014 Ukrainian revolution, the militants from the UNU were on the front lines of the street riots in Kiev. In March 2014 Vitaly Krivosheev and Artem Golovko FSB detained in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. According to Russian media, he has been preparing terrorist attacks and sabotage activities in the territory of the Russian Federation. Activists of the UNU takes part in the war in Eastern Ukraine.
